Work advancing on Cowan Station project

by | Mar 13, 2023 | All Articles

Construction work is getting under way on the Cowan Station project off U.S. 1 in Fredericksburg.

The Jarrell Properties project is off U.S. 1 just south of the Cowan Boulevard intersection. The main entrance will be on Spotsylvania Avenue across from the Cowan Crossing development. The project will consist of eight brick buildings of 6,500 square feet per building.

Jarrell recently started clearing the properties. Spotsylvania Avenue is expected to be closed to through-traffic for eight months starting this week for road-improvement work and utility relocation. The entrance off U.S. 1 will be closed. The entrance off William Street to Olde William Street will remain open, and the businesses on Olde William Street will remain accessible.
