Veterinary hospital coming to Littlepage Street

A veterinary hospital will open next to the Sunken Well Tavern in Fredericksburg.

The Littlepage Animal Hospital will be located in about 4,150 square feet at 712 Littlepage Street, which is near the Hanover Street intersection. The building was formerly home to the Alternative Paths Training School.

The business is targeting a summer opening, according to its Facebook page. A renovation is currently under way.

Middle-school students from Art Time for Kids are currently painting an animal-focused mural on the outside of the building.
