Silver Diner, Chase Bank project under way at Central Park entrance

A project is under way that will bring a popular restaurant and a national bank branch to the main entrance of Fredericksburg’s Central Park shopping center.

A Silver Diner and a Chase Bank are planned on the site at 2931-2951 Plank Road at the intersection of Plank Road and Carl D. Silver Parkway. The two existing buildings on that site, which formerly housed a Ruby Tuesday and a Pancho Villa restaurant, have recently been torn down for the project.
