Ryan Homes to be builder at Telegraph Hill/Fredericksburg Park

July 23, 2019 | Fredericksburg Business News |

Ryan Homes, which has built numerous communities in the Fredericksburg area, will be building the homes at Kettler’s Fredericksburg Park/Telegraph Hill development off Lafayette Boulevard near the Blue & Gray Parkway. Peter Olechnovich, Kettler’s vice president of land development, provided an update on the project during the quarterly Fredericksburg Economic Development Breakfast at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel downtown. Olechnovich said the McLean-based firm was attracted by Fredericksburg’s solid demographics —  including its low unemployment rate — as well as its commuter-rail access and walkability. The project will include 80 single-family homes, 204 townhouses and a small commercial space near the intersection of Alum Spring Road and Lafayette Boulevard. The project will bring improvements to Lafayette Boulevard including a traffic circle at the entrance across from Lee Drive. Extensive site work has already occurred, and Olechnovich said the first homes will be ready by early 2020.
