The former home of Roxbury Farm & Garden Center and a William Street property were among the sales finalized in September, according to Fredericksburg’s monthly deed transfer report.
The Rappahannock Area Community Services Board (RACSB) bought the 1.7-acre Roxbury property — which is bordered on three sides by Lafayette Boulevard, Jackson Street and Wolfe Street — for $3.75 million. RACSB is developing plans for the property but has said it plans to expand horticulture services, help adults with disabilities and create administrative space.
In addition, the roughly 3,000-square-foot historic building at 312 William St. in downtown Fredericksburg sold for $555,000 to For Anything Properties LLC, according to the report.
