Registration still open for UMW’s CISSP training course

April 1, 2021 | Community News | Education, University of Mary Washington

In March 2019, Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam announced that a local cyber-security preparatory program had received a $110,000 GO Virginia grant. The University of Mary Washington (UMW) implemented the 40-hour certification program to train Certified Information Systems Security Professionals (CISSP).  UMW is currently the only Official Academic Training Partner with ISC(2) for cybersecurity in the region. (ISC)² is the world’s largest nonprofit association of certified cybersecurity professionals.

Live online or in-person classes that take place in the evenings and weekends at two campuses will help meet the needs of local professionals with busy schedules.

Seats are still available so register today.  Class begins on April 14.
