A Panera Bread location is coming to the University of Mary Washington campus in Fredericksburg.
The Panera location is now under construction on the second floor of the University Center at 1301 College Ave. (between Parcell and Payne streets). It’s expected to open in mid-January.
This will be one of only a few Panera Bread eateries located on a college campus. The menu will be slightly scaled down from the menus offered at traditional Panera locations, but it will still offer a wide selection of the eatery’s most-popular items.
Panera also has a newly remodeled location at 1760 Carl D. Silver Parkway in Fredericksburg’s Central Park shopping center.
Panera, Katora Coffee, Vocelli Pizza, Hissho Sushi, Bodacious Burgers, Simply To Go Market, Top of the UC and all the other on-campus dining options at UMW are open to the public during regular operating hours.
