Fredericksburg leaders recently visited DeLand, Florida, to exchange downtown revitalization ideas, strengthen relationships, and celebrate the unique character that makes both Main Streets special.

The City of Fredericksburg is celebrating two important milestones that reflect its commitment to innovation and excellence in public service. From adding its first electric vehicle to the municipal fleet to the Treasurer’s Office earning renewed state accreditation, these achievements demonstrate the City’s continued investment in sustainability, operational excellence, and serving the community.

The University of Mary Washington’s latest national recognition highlights more than academic excellence it strengthens Fredericksburg’s ability to attract talent, support workforce development, and enhance the community’s quality of life.

Downtown business owner David Fraser has been appointed to the Fredericksburg Economic Development Authority Board. As the founder of Fraser Wood Elements, he brings more than a decade of entrepreneurial experience, a commitment to sustainability, and a deep investment in Fredericksburg’s small business community.

Fredericksburg City Council appointed Curry Roberts to the Economic Development Authority Board on June 23. With more than 35 years of economic development leadership experience, Roberts brings a wealth of expertise that will help advance business growth and economic vitality throughout the city.
