Transurban DC Express Lanes

Major construction work began this week on the Interstate 95 Express Lanes Fredericksburg Extension – also known as Fred Ex. The project will extend the I-95 Express Lanes from its southern terminus point at Exit 143/Garrisonville to Exit 133/Falmouth. The 10-mile extension of two reversible high-occupancy toll lanes will be built in the existing median of I-95. Additional collector-distributor lanes will then be built between Exit 133 and just past Exit 130 across the Rappahannock River. Read more about the project here.
