On Tuesday, July 14th, the public is invited to join the Fredericksburg Nationals for Jackie Robinson Legacy Night at the Fredericksburg stadium.
There will be a celebration of the 80th birthday of FredNats owner, Art Silber, awarding the recipients of the Jackie Robinson Writing Contest and a FREE viewing of the movie “42, the Jackie Robinson Story” on the video board! (Jackie Robinson was Silber’s boyhood hero).
The movie will be viewable from the field and seating will be properly spaced to ensure fan safety. Fans will be invited to sit only on the dark green stripes of turf on the field and will be asked to sit 15 feet apart from other groups or families. FredNats blankets will be available for purchase but fans are invited to bring their own if they would like.
No lawn chairs will be allowed on the field.
If you haven’t been out to the ballpark yet, this may be your best chance yet!
Founders Club members and sponsors are exclusively invited to early access to the ballpark at 5:30 p.m. to grab the best seats on the field and receive premier parking.
No reservations are required.
For up-to-date information and details on the event go to the FredNats Facebook page.
