IST Research makes Entrepreneur 360 list

Entrepreneur magazine recently included Fredericksburg-based IST Research as one of 360 U.S. companies classified as “real leaders among entrepreneurs.”

The 2019 “Entrepreneur 360” list is a “360-degree analysis of U.S.-based companies designed to identify the real leaders among entrepreneurs.” The magazine generates the list by looking at both hard numbers as well as “soft” determinants such as impact, innovation and leadership. The Entrepreneur 360 analysis uses a proprietary algorithm and other advanced analytics to calculate the most-successful entrepreneurial companies in America. Companies that apply are evaluated on the analysis of 50-plus data points based on mastering the art and science of a growing a business.

IST was founded in 2008 and is located at 401 Hanover Street in downtown Fredericksburg. It is a small, veteran-owned and operated business. IST’s mission is to address some of the most-urgent human-security issues faced by the world’s vulnerable populations. IST’s product, Pulse, does this by helping people understand hard to reach communities by providing insight into their thinking and engaging them in two-way conversations.
