Harry’s coming to downtown Fredericksburg

June 9, 2021 | Fredericksburg Business News |

Harry’s Downtown will be in this corner space at Liberty Place in downtown Fredericksburg.

A popular Spotsylvania County restaurant is opening a second location in downtown Fredericksburg.

The owner of Harry’s Alehouse will lease the roughly 4,900 square feet of ground-level space that remains along the William Street side of the Liberty Place complex. The restaurant, which will be called Harry’s Downtown, will be at the corner of the building closest to the corner of Winchester and William streets.

Harry’s Downtown will be similar to the Spotsylvania location, said owner Doug Welsh. It will have a warehouse-style feel, tall ceilings, a 22-seat bar, a garage door opening to the patio and plenty of great food and beverages.

Harry’s neighbors at Liberty Place when it opens in early 2022 will be Blue Cow Ice Cream, which should open soon, and Mellow Mushroom. Upstairs tenants include Fit20, Atlantic Union Bank and Cary Street Partners.

We are thrilled to welcome Harry’s to downtown!
