Fredericksburg’s Economic Development Authority (EDA) is marketing industrial land parcels between 5 and 25 acres in the City’s Battlefield Industrial Park.
The EDA is under contract to buy a 60-acre property owned by Technautics LLC that has frontage on both Tyler Street and Belman Road. The EDA is now working on conceptual planning for potentially subdividing the land with parcels between about 5 and 25 acres. The EDA recently started a four-month study period on the property during which it will market the land in an effort to generate industrial users that fulfill the EDA’s mission of economic development. The EDA is also looking at conservation opportunities for the wetlands portions of the land.
