Exercise studio opens at Liberty Place

The latest business to open at Liberty Place in downtown Fredericksburg is a fast-growing fitness studio.

fit20 opened yesterday on the second floor of the Liberty Place development at the corner of William and Winchester streets. The location is serving as both an exercise studio and fit20 USA’s national franchise training center.

fit20 members are advised to complete one 20-minute workout session per week with a certified personal trainer to achieve their fitness goals using a circuit of specialized strength-training machines. fit20 also has locations in North Stafford and Cosner’s Corner.

The official grand opening of fit20 Liberty Place will be at 3 p.m. October 26.

The studio joins Cary Street Partners at Liberty Place, and additional businesses are in the works — including a Mellow Mushroom on the ground level. Construction on that space is expected to start next month.
