RIoT Virginia Information Session

RIoT Virginia is hosting an information session for entrepreneurs. This session is on February 10th from 3:30pm – 4:30pm at UMW’s Dahlgren Campus. This session is to inform entrepreneurs about growing their business in the tech field. RIoT is a network of entrepreneurs and other business people who put their stake in the Internet of Things industry. They are a group who meets to exchange ideas, learn new technologies, and create opportunities. Their mission is to create a community that captures opportunities from the Internet of Things locally, nationally, and globally.

The session covers opportunities provided through two of their programs. The Foundations Program is useful because it helps teach the foundations of starting a business. This program is the idea stage of a business. The Accelerator Program is also helpful as it is more for entrepreneurs ready to expand their business. This is done through activities such as research commercialization, startup growth, and corporate innovation projects. At the event you will also hear from the host UMW. They will speak about the opportunities and programs that they offer.

Both programs as well as the information session is free. RIoT takes no IP from any business that they support. Join them at their session on February 10th to learn more about entrepreneurship and connect with their network.
