Eghtessad featured in UMW magazine

Our very own Lily Eghtessad was featured in the latest edition of the University of Mary Washington magazine.

Eghtessad is a tourism associate with the Fredericksburg Department of Economic Development and Tourism (EDT) and a 2020 UMW graduate. She has spearheaded the City’s FXBG Diverse City project, which celebrates the diversity of Fredericksburg’s business community. You can find the series on our Facebook page.

Eghtessad also spearheaded a recent EDT social media series called “Spanning Chatham Bridge’s History,” making weekly posts about the bridge as it underwent reconstruction. And she has taken over a lot of the department’s day-to-day social media work.
