Fredericksburg is a diverse city — made up of diverse businesses, owners and stories. The importance of supporting Fredericksburg businesses extends beyond stimulating the local economy. When you support diverse small businesses by being a loyal customer, purchasing a gift card, leaving an online review, referring businesses to a friend, or engaging on social media, these efforts benefit the many different communities that make up our city.
FXBG Diverse City is a year-long program from the Fredericksburg Department of Economic Development and Tourism that aims to shed light on the owners and stories behind the Fredericksburg businesses that we love. Twice each month, the department will feature a diverse Fredericksburg business on the Economic Development and Tourism Facebook and Instagram pages. The stories will be told with both blog posts and videos. Sign up for our Fred Focus newsletter to make sure you never miss a feature.
This week’s feature is When Pigs Fly.
FXBG Diverse City is spearheaded by Tourism Marketing Assistant Ryan Cudahy, who can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you to the Fredericksburg Economic Development Authority for the generous financial support of FXBG Diverse City.
