Saturday, October 24 promises to be a busy day at the beautiful new Fredericksburg Nationals stadium.
The FredNats and 6 Bears & A Goat Brewing Company are teaming up on a disc golf event that day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Events during the “Disc Golf Extravaganza at the Ballpark” will range from instructional sessions for beginners to an array of competitions for experts. Food, beer and soft drinks will be available.
Later that evening, from 5-7:30 p.m., there will be an event called “Scarecrows & Bats at Fred Nats” that will feature games, Halloween treat bags, concessions and a showing of “It’s a Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.” Costumes and blankets are encouraged. This event is being put on by the Fred Nats; Fredericksburg Parks, Recreation & Events; Fredericksburg Parent & Family; and the Rappahannock Fredericksburg Rotary Club.
