City Council, School Board contests to be held Nov. 2

All ward-specific City Council and School Board positions will appear on the November 2 General Election ballot.

The deadline for candidates to qualify for the above races is 7 p.m. June 8. Those interested in running for these offices should review qualification requirements on the Virginia Department of Elections website. Additionally, candidate qualification packets are available in the office of the Voter Registrar during regular business hours.
