downtown library buildingAll three floors of the Central Rappahannock Regional Library’s (CRRL) downtown branch will be reorganized and get improvements in March and April to accomplish several key goals. These include opening up the third floor, which will house adult nonfiction and study rooms and will be opened to the public sometime in April. This will be the first time in the history of CRRL that the third floor of the Fredericksburg branch will be a public browsing, studying and meeting space (it was formerly administrative space for the library’s staff).

There will be some necessary customer-service interruptions, including the closing of  the adult collections from March 9 to April 3. A small selection of titles, including new releases, will still be available. The Fredericksburg branch will be closed for renovations March 9, 23 and 24. The branch is located at 1201 Caroline St.
