The City of Fredericksburg will replace the stormwater system in the 100 block of William Street this summer to coincide with the Chatham Bridge work.
The improved Chatham Bridge over the Rappahannock River remains on track to reopen to traffic in October.
The Route 3 Business bridge over the Rappahannock River, also known as Chatham Bridge, will close to traffic for an improvement project beginning on Monday, June 22.
The public is invited to join the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) for a virtual, online “Pardon Our Dust” meeting Thursday to learn more about upcoming construction to improve the Route 3 Business bridge over the Rappahannock River, also known as Chatham Bridge.
We have great news to share! George Street has been reopened to two-way traffic.
