Blue Cow Ice Cream opening Thursday in downtown FXBG

The Blue Cow Ice Cream shop in downtown Fredericksburg will open Thursday (July 1).

The shop is at 607 William Street next to Mellow Mushroom in Fredericksburg’s Liberty Place development. Harry’s Ale House recently announced that they plan to open a second area location on the other side of Blue Cow Ice Cream in Liberty Place.

Blue Cow collaborated with Fredericksburg-based Spaces Design Studio on the shop’s design. It includes a skateboard install from Gabriel Pons and a 24-foot-long mural portraying a joyful interpretation of regional life as envisioned by Pete Morelewicz of Print Jazz.

The shop will be open from noon to 10 p.m. daily with flavors posted to bluecowicecream.com and on Instagram at @bluecowicecream.
