A barbecue restaurant is coming to the former Happy Clam location at 1017 Sophia St. in downtown Fredericksburg.
The Pig Pitt, which specializes in pork barbecue and homemade pork rinds, is shooting to open in March, said owner Peggy Durrette.
The Pig Pitt has been at 10412 Courthouse Road in Spotsylvania County for the past year and a half, Durrette said. That location will close when the downtown one opens.
