August 30, 2021 | Fredericksburg Business News |

Fredericksburg-based Aspetto has been awarded a GSA contract to provide a new air-charter service for federal government agencies called Aspetto Aviation

According to an Aspetto press release, the company will be “providing commercial charter and related services for both domestic and international travel, and transportation needs. This will include, but is not limited to, services such as: passenger, medical/patient transport, emergency, environmental/climatology, agricultural, prisoner/alien transport, and charter management.”

Aspetto, which is located at 1691 Jefferson Davis Highway, is known for creating America’s first bullet-resistant clothing line. It was created by two University of Mary Washington College of Business alumni, Abbas Haider and Robert Davis. Both made Forbes’ “30 Under 30” Class of 2018 and serve on the executive advisory board for the UMW College of Business.

We congratulate them on all of their successes and wish them luck with their future plans!
