Anytime Fitness opening at downtown FXBG project

July 8, 2022 | Fredericksburg Business News | Business Openings & Changes

An Anytime Fitness location will open inside one of the buildings currently being constructed at the former Free Lance-Star property in downtown Fredericksburg.

The gym will open in a 6,432-square-foot location in the Amelia House building at the corner of Amelia Street and Washington Avenue. It will be open to apartment renters in the complex, guests of the adjacent hotel along Washington Avenue, and the general public.

Vakos Companies is developing the project, which is called William Square. The Winchester Place apartments recently opened in the next block over.

William Foxx, who will own and operate the Anytime Fitness location, said he hopes to have the facility open sometime in early 2023. He said members will have access to both that facility as well as other Anytime Fitness locations throughout the country. The gym will be open 24-7 to members and will offer an array of individual fitness, personal training and group fitness classes.

We look forward to welcoming Anytime Fitness to Fredericksburg!
