‘Operation Tulip Drop’ coming to downtown FXBG
Bloomia is donating 350,000 stems of tulips for distribution downtown to add some “flower power” and cheer up our community in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak. With the help of Fredericksburg Virginia Main Street Inc. and the City of Fredericksburg, tulips will be distributed from area restaurants and shops that are doing carry-out business, and from two pickup locations downtown.
‘Virginia is for Restaurant Lovers Takeout Week’ to start Monday
To support restaurants that are offering takeout, curbside pick-up, and no-contact delivery, a promotion called “Virginia is for Restaurant Lovers Takeout Week” is planned March 30-April 5.
