80 Years and Rolling: Tire Tread Service, Inc.
Two families have owned Tire Tread Service since the business was born, 80 years ago. The original location was at the site where the downtown Post Office (on Princess Anne Street) is currently situated. Now they are nestled on a side street at the offer end of Princess Anne at 311 Bridgewater Street.

Jessica Atkinson is the Voter Registrar for the City of Fredericksburg. She and her team work year-round to adopt best practices and encourage voter registration and participation. In mid-March, her office hosted a regional Voter Registrars Association of Virginia Conference, here in Fredericksburg. Happily, the “turnout” was at an all-time high. Our Economic Development and Tourism (ED&T) office was excited to lend a hand.
