2019 Business Appreciation Winner, Katora Coffee

The Department of Economic Development & Tourism honored Katora Coffee during Business Appreciation month. The 2019 theme was inspired by “Businesses who give Back!” Christian Zammas owns and operates Katora Coffee along with his wife, April. Christian knows the true meaning of giving back due to his own life journey. When the business opened he had hopes of giving back to his community; he turned those hopes into action. He offers programmatic support, advocacy and provides in-kind donations to the Thurman Brisben Center, which provides services for at-risk homeless men, women and children. Katora means vessel in Hindi. Christian has become a vessel in our community. We thank Katora Coffee for its investment in our City!
