The Rappahannock Area Community Services Board (RACSB) plans to expand after purchasing the Roxbury Farm & Garden Center property in Fredericksburg.

Area residents will now have access to improved outpatient services and primary care screenings from RACSB. The 1.7-acre Roxbury property — which is bordered on three sides by Lafayette Boulevard, Jackson Street and Wolfe Street — will allow RACSB to expand horticulture services and help adults with disabilities. Administrative offices may also move, allowing RACSB to expand clinical services at its nearby office at 600 Jackson St.

The Free Lance-Star reported the sales price of the property as $3.75 million.
